The Marysville-based lawn and garden company released a product this summer called EveryDrop that can curb a lawn's thirst by 25 percent - helping Californians meet requirements to reduce water use while keeping their grass alive. EveryDrop is a surfactant - a chemical like soap that reduces the surface tension of water, allowing it to more evenly spread out and be absorbed.
