With scale cross section of 14 x 10 mm and glass scale to carry measuring graduation, MSA 170 suits motion applications in various industries as well as CNC applications. Features include graduation of 20 micron and scanning carriage that operates on reflected light principle. Integrated in scanning unit, encoder electronics are available with 1 Vpp or digital TTL output signals with resolution to 0.1 micron. Max measuring length is 520 mm, and + 5 or +3 micron accuracy grades are available.
