East of the Windward Islands (AL96): Shower and thunderstorm activity remains disorganized in association with a tropical wave located a couple of hundred miles east of the Windward Islands. Development, if any, of this system should be slow to occur while it moves quickly westward to west-northwestward at 20 to 25 mph across the Caribbean Sea. 000 ABPZ20 KNHC 031128 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 500 AM PDT Wed Jul 3 2024 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: Offshore of Southern Mexico (EP91): Disorganized showers and thunderstorms located a few hundred miles offshore of the coast of southern Mexico are associated with a broad area of low pressure. Environmental conditions are conducive for further development of this system, and a short-lived tropical depression could form within the next day or so while it moves northward to northwestward at 10 to 15 mph, remaining offshore of the southwestern coast of Mexico.
