Self-storage startup MakeSpace tries out a national delivery service

Makespace, the self-storage startup that's received $10.1 million in venture backing, is taking an unanticipated turn to chase new growth: A national delivery business. Fashioned at launch as an answer to the particularly unpleasant problems posed by urban self storage, Makespace this week announced a deal with United Parcel Service Inc. to provide its pick-up and drop off services anywhere in the continental United States.
