Package Description What we offer if you join our amazing team Competitive Salary Corporate Benefits Package Exciting relocation package if applicable Company events Main Responsibilities As Senior UNIX Administrator you will concentrate your activities on the following Operating system installation and configuration Diagnosis, reporting and correction of system software faultsuser problems Planning, preparation, testing and implementation maintenance activities such as patches and software upgrades Interfacing with 1st and 3rd line support, and other internal 2nd line support teams Installation, testing and inventory of new software packages and releases Application configurationtuning Auditing and accounting Maintenance of inhouse softwaredocumentation Performing extra support activities as requested, including working outside the normal working hours Implementation, maintenance and operation of automatic software updates and OS installation. Strong Linux administration SLES RHEL with good understanding of storage, networking and scripting Additional skillsany 2 out of 5 1. Experience knowledge of Hadoop administration 2. Basic database administration MySQL MariaDB 3. Virtualisation Environments ESX Vcloud Director associated provisioning life cycle management Autoyast Kickstart 4. Solaris 5. Netbackup Solid understanding of 1. SAN concepts 2. Networking concepts Good to have 1. Experience with HP hardware 2. Experienceknowledge of CHEF Additionally, the successful candidate should bring the following experience and skills Very good command of English Knowledge of German is an advantage Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products and Lotus Notes ITIL qualifications an advantage.
