Severe storms knock out power, topple trees across viewing area

Areas from Winston County to Shelby and Chilton experienced high winds, lots of lightning and the storm damage that goes along with it. We could see a few strong storms Tuesday afternoon, but the overall severe weather threat is fairly low.
