Shutterstock CEO and founder Jon Oringer answers a question from NY Tech Meetup executive director Jessica Lawrence at New York Social Media Week on Wednesday. Shutterstock founder and CEO Jon Oringer said today he still thinks it's desirable and realistic to build a technology company on profits alone, even as he acknowledged that a super-charged funding environment has altered the landscape since 2003.
