Sidney OKs steps for business expansion

Crop Production Services is buying 4.29 acres of property, which is owned by JMJ Pennell LLC. The property is east of the CPS facility at the corner of county roads 1000 North and 1900 East, about a half-mile west of the village limits. Following a hearing before the meeting Tuesday, the village board passed an ordinance approving a pre-annexation agreement and passed a resolution for a re-plat combining the 4.29 acres with the 3.76-acre CPS parcel that it adjoins.
