Sika Reduces Family's Rights to Stop a Sale to Saint-Gobain

BAAR, Switzerland-Swiss chemical maker Sika AG on Tuesday reduced the voting rights of its founding family, a move designed to thwart the proposed sale of their stake to France's Saint-Gobain SA. At the company's annual meeting, the board capped the family's voting rights at 5%, severely limiting the appeal of their stake.
