With Smart Curve feature, Smart Modules can be designed with 30% longer strings than traditional modules while remaining within 600 V or 1,000 V NEC safety norms. Smart Curve introduces voltage limiting device directly in module, allowing manufacturers to program max voltage in factory; typical 60-cell polycrystalline module can be programmed to Voc of 32 V as compared to 38 V for traditional module. Max voltage does not change with temperature so coefficient of temperature is 0%/K.
