Softbank preparing IPO with Nomura, looks to raise JPY 2 tln - report

(Telecompaper) SoftBank is preparing the initial public offering of its mobile phone unit with Nomura, Bloomberg reported, saying the company is looking to raise over JPY 2 trillion (USD 19 billion). While no official mandates have been assigned, Nomura is advising the company on matters such as its strategy for distributing the shares, corporate governance and documentation needed to list on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
