YOUR TASKS The tasks of this role will include Contribution to management and programmatic activities SW Engineering activities for requirements definitionconsolidation and early design phases direct implementation or follow up support SW Engineering activities for detail design phases and buildup phases also direct implementation or follow up support SW Engineering activities for supporting operations and maintenance corrective and evolutive of the different ground segments or subsegments YOUR PROFILE Essential skills University degree or equivalent in an engineering or scientific discipline relevant to the job profile. Required qualifications to be successful in this role Engineering of large, UNIX or LINUX based, complex, realtime data processing systems Source code control systems e.g. Subversion, Git Software anomalies analysis, debugging, profiling, fixing and processing Proven ability in IV of complex systems Requirements and verification management Software maintenance, performance monitoring ECSS standards Experience in operational environments under strict change control Configuration control Near realtime, Earth observation data processing, archiving, distribution Satellite monitoring and control e.g. SCOS2000 Mission control functions Satellite communications packet TMTC, PUS, SLE protocol Ground Station monitoring and control Desired skills include Automated Testing Requirements and verification management using DOORS Objectoriented software design, and maintenance, including the use of UMLSysML based tools for supportingdocumenting the design, at least at the architectural level Programming languages CC, Java, Javascript, XML, Perl, TclTk Operating systems UNIXLinux and Windows Relational databases MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL Networking Internet protocols, TCPIP programming, network monitoring WE OFFER With SCISYS you get the chance to take responsibility for your own and varied professional activities, while there is always room for producing new ideas and contributing your personality.
