Our German activities grow at fast pace and to face our costumers high level expectations and needs, we are looking for talented profiles having relevant experience in Space systems. We are looking for a Software Engineer in CS GmbH. The successful candidate will be assigned to the following tasks Under the direction of the project manager in CS GmbH the SW will be in charge of maintaining various space systems under ITIL methodology. This activity includes, among others, the following activities Software development in CC and Java Studies and prototyping of concepts Bug fixing Anomaly investigation and design of resolutions Support to technical meetings with customers Intensive test and validation activities Onsite support for critical operation phases Project Reporting. PROFILE A previous work experience in software development or maintenance in the space environment would be an important asset. Academic background M.Sc. in Computer Science Engineer, Telecommunications Engineer, Mathematician with high Computing Skills or Similar Technical skills Good level in C and Java programing. Some knowledge of CCSDS standard would be valuable. Knowledge in Spring, Eclipse RCP, EMF, GEF, GMF, SWT Knowledge in CORBA, RMI would be an advantage. Knowledge in scripting language, shell, Perl, Python Knowledge of JDBCSQL, MySQL, MariaDB. Good background in UnixLinuxwindows environments Good knowledge of GIT, SVN, HP ALM. Others skills Proficiency in English language High level of flexibility Good organisation skills, good communication skills Ability to work autonomously in a challenging environment. The official languages of our customers are English and French. The working language for the position is English and therefore the Engineer must be able to work effectively in this language and have knowledge of the other.
