South Korea's FTC approves SK, broadcasters OTT venture

(Telecompaper) South Korea's Fair Trade Commission (FTC) approved the merger between OTT services Oksusu, under SK Telecom, and Pooq, jointly owned by broadcasters KBS, MBC and SBS, according to local paper Korea Joongang Daily. However, the approval is subject to conditions that will last for three years to ensure fair competition.
