Package Description What we offer if you join our amazing team Competitive Salary Corporate Benefits Package Exciting relocation package if applicable Company events Main Responsibilities As Spacecraft Analyst you will familiarise with the mission and you will support and in particular with the procedures and tools that are needed to perform the routine Spacecraft control operations. You will concentrate your activities on the following You will be required to develop and install suitable tools to allow the efficient execution of the operational tasks, also, You will analyse the system operations and to prepare procedures. Participation in test campaigns and simulations and arrange for the participation of the controllers may be required. You will conduct regular operational readiness training and simulations with controllers proficiency training and will support the relevant Flight Operations as a member of the Flight Control Teams FCT during ground segment development validation and flight nominal contingency operations. This includes the following tasks You will be expected to conduct 1st level investigations into anomalies for the Spacecraft and MonitoringControl systems and report through the established channels Maintenance of SC TMTC operational data base, related tools and procedures under strict configuration control. Develop and maintain any small SW tool MSEXCEL, MSACCESS, Visual Basics that may be required for efficient and effective conduct of flight planning and preparation tasks. Applying configuration control procedures for documentation in use for all operational tasks and duties under their supervision. Responsibility for the transmission and tracking of operational instructions to the SPACON team and ensuring their compliance. Responsibility of the organisation, training and operational readiness of new and established controllers assigned to the mission. Participation to LEOPs and Simulation campaigns. Validate and maintain the NDIU systems for SVTs and LEOPs. Introduction and maintenance of appropriate working practises and procedures for routine and problem reporting, data analysis, recording and maintenance of system status, recording of operational activities. Collect information data regarding the execution of the mission and provide inputs for the various mission reports. Provide spacecraft control support in case of special operations where the SPACONs complement assigned to the mission is not in a position to cover the needs this task is expected to be necessary for very limited periods of time. Successful Candidate Do you think you are the person we are looking for? See below what experience or knowledge you should bring You would be expected to complete a customerled trainingcertification program to demonstrate proficiency and knowledge on the S6 mission. You will be also expected as part of a team rota provide 247 oncall duty analyst support. Ensuring operational events are coordinated and carried out according to an agreed schedule, ensuring the controller analyst team have the support to complete operations. interfacing between ops management, facility engineers and Controllers You will also support the control team ensuring escalation actions are performed for all operational areas including data production dissemination and team issues. Degree levelequivalent in Computer Science or Aerospace Engineering with significant software content or sufficient practical experience in the relevant field Good experience with office automation tools, including MSEXCEL and MSACCESS use of functions, queries, macros, reports, input forms, etc. Knowledge of the Linux environment including interactive shells, shell scripting and Python 3 Some programming experience Visual Basic andor SQLWeb development is beneficial. Good communication skills and team spirit Good knowledge of the English language Good Knowledge of S6 operations is essential. Knowledge of SCOS would also be beneficial.
