(Telecompaper) Spanish mobile broadband lines reached a total of 40.3 million in March, up 6.5 percent year on year and equivalent to 90.5 lines per 100 inhabitants, according to the latest data from telecom regulator CNMC. A 153,574 monthly rise in postpay connections combined with a 133,668 increase in prepay lines, with the overall mobile penetration rate increasing by 1 percentage point year on year to 110.1 lines per 100 inhabitants. In total, some 391,317 mobile lines were ported in April, with the net figure rising by 13,602 compared to March for a national total of 51.5 million.
