Installed on wood or masonry, special purpose hinge pintle (item 88-522) provides secure mounting location for John Wright shutter hinges. Reversible design can be mounted on left or right side of windows and provides 1.5 in. of offset. While suited for brick or blocks because design moves screws away from edge to reduce possibility of cracking, cast iron construction with steel hinge pin promotes durability. Screws and plastic anchors are included.
