Used for primary radiation screening of trucks, vehicles, containers, trains, and air cargo, Detective-SPM-16 incorporates large area high purity germanium (HPGe) and non He-3 neutron detectors. Functionality helps detect and identify nuclear threats while minimizing nuisance alarms at Ports of Entry. Auto-calibration and auto-alarm features, as well as design that is environmentally hardened towards low and high temperature operation, help minimize maintenance over life of system.
