Ofcom is the independent regulator and competition authority for the UK communications industries. We regulate the TV, radio, fixedline telecoms, mobile telecoms and postal sectors, plus the radio spectrum over which wireless devices operate. We are looking for a talented individual to join the Space and Science team within Ofcoms Spectrum Group. The Spectrum Group is responsible for ensuring the radio spectrum is used in the most effective way possible, and the Space and Science team plays an important role by Providing specialist expertise on use of the radio spectrum by space and science applications Leading on, and participating in, a wide range of policy projects that aim to improve the efficiency of spectrum use Managing satellite filings for companies or other organisations registered in the UK, the British Overseas Territories, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
