Steelcase profit lifted by strong Americas sales

Steelcase Inc. said its fiscal second-quarter earnings increased 11%, led by a rebound in the office-furniture maker's Americas division. "This strong performance in the Americas, driven again by strong project business, helped to offset the losses in [Europe, Middle East and Africa], where our teams continue to implement the required business model changes in Europe," Chief Executive Jim Keane said.
