Exxon is set to begin trucking out 17 million gallons of oil that has been stranded in the Santa Barbara area since May 2015, when a 126,000-gallon spill from a broken pipeline fouled nearby beaches. Above, the spill's impact is seen at Refugio State Beach on May 20, 2015.
