Utilizing CO2, Model SFT-NPX-10 performs supercritical fluid extractions on botanicals, herbs, spices, and other natural materials in processing vessels of 20 L capacity and below, with single or dual separators. Coriolis flow meter ensures precise mass flow measurement, while pneumatic CO2 pump with integral pre-chiller maximizes pumping efficiency. There is no need to perform distillation step since, upon dropping pressure, CO2 becomes gas that may be safely vented or optionally recycled.
