DEHNguard® M YPV SCI (2-pole protection), and DEHNguard® S PV SCI (1-pole protection) address issues associated with PV systems. By incorporating switched fused circuit in parallel to MOV discharge circuit, these SPDs can be safely (arc free) disconnected from system when necessary. Both versions are designed for DIN rail mounting and are UL 1449 3rd edition-compliant for PV DC systems operating at 1,500 V. Also available, PCB mounting lets most configurations be built on PCB.
