Syngenta sales lifted by Latin America

Syngenta AG on Thursday reported a 2% rise in third-quarter sales, helped by strong growth in its Latin American and Asia Pacific markets. Basel-based Syngenta, which makes agricultural products designed to improve crop productivity, said sales rose to $2.98 billion in the quarter, compared with $2.92 billion in the same period a year earlier.
