Tanger anticipates more growth - just not at this year's brisk pace

The CEO of Greensboro-based Tanger Factory Outlet Centers remains upbeat on the outlet shopping model, even as the company's development plans slow from this year's aggressive pace. The publicly traded real estate investment trust currently operates and owns, or has ownership interest in, 46 upscale outlet shopping centers in 24 states and Canada, totaling about 14.4 million square feet.
