(Telecompaper) Debt-laden Telecom Italia is considering a sale of its mobile towers, reports Bloomberg citing an unnamed source with direct knowledge of the matter. It is understood to be considering setting up a company for around 12,000 mobile masts before putting this company up for sale. The source said that the assets could be worth EUR 500 million-EUR 1 billion. Telecom Italia directors have also discussed plans to restructure the company's domestic operations by establishing separate companies for its consumer and business services.
