(Telecompaper) Telefonica has finally launched its 'Aura' voice-activated assistant in an initial 6 countries after first unveiling the platform at last year's Mobile World Congress. At a conference held on the eve of MWC 2018, the company announced that it will be delivering the so-called 'fourth platform' via a mobile application, but also via other third-party channels including Facebook, Google and Microsoft. The system, which is available in Spain, Germany, the UK, Brazil, Argentina and Chile, uses artificial intelligence to interact with costumers, allowing them to manage their digital experiences with Telefonica and control the data generated.
