Telkom Group FY revenue up 3% to ZAR 43 bln

(Telecompaper) South Africa's Telkom Group revenue said its revenue grew 3 percent to ZAR 43.0 billion in the year to end March, with expansion in the mobile market helping to offset a 22 percent decline in fixed voice revenue. The group reported a 66.4 percent decline in headline earnings per share to ZAR 2.08 per share. Basic earnings per share decreased by 78.4 percent to ZAR 1.21, impacted by one-time costs for voluntary severance and early retirement packages, Covid-19, and a higher effective tax rate.� [ more ]
