(Telecompaper) Indonesian operator Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom) has announced it will terminate its agreement to acquire shares in AP TeleGuam from Japanese private equity company Advantage Partners, the Nikkei reports. According to a Telkom spokesperson, the decision follows the company's failure to obtain approval from US regulators. The transaction was first announced in June 2015. According to a Telkom stock exchange filing, the termination of the deal will have no impact on the Indonesian company's operational activities or financial condition.
