Taylor Brown can't say exactly when he fell in love with the written word, but he gives some credit to Nancy Pruitt, his first-grade teacher at St. Simons Elementary, and his bad feet as a kid. "I don't know what anybody else did in first grade," he said, "but all we did was write stories."
