The state Legislature begins its final week of sessions before the Christmas break, with much of the Grand Rapids media's attention centered on bills that would give tax exemptions for data centers. This would clear the way for Switch to bring what it calls a five billion-dollar, thousand-job operation into the former Steelcase pyramid building southeast of the Calder City.
