Designed for insulative and structural components used in aircraft interiors, Radel® PPSU Foam is chemical resistant and exceeds fire, smoke, and toxic gas requirements. Product is manufactured using continuous extrusion process that creates closed cell foam with tightly controlled cell size distribution. Molecular structure prevents uncontrolled crack propagation upon impact. With density of 3.12 lb/ft³, R-1050 is suited for aircraft ducting, sidewalls, ceilings, privacy panels, and seat shells.
