As alternative to metal racks, corrosion-resistant Versa Rack is made of self-lubricating polymer, can run at full speed (480–750 rpm and 2 m/sec) without additional lubrication, and withstands washdown and outdoors operation even in coastal climates with salty air. Backlash (<3.2 µm), positional accuracy (±580 µm), and load capacity (500–1,200 N) depend on selected pinion. Applications include CNC routers and conveyers as well as picking, part-marking, and gantry-based automation systems.
