(Telecompaper) Thomas H. Lee Partners is in advanced talks to acquire the enterprise business of eBay Inc for up to USD 1 billion, Reuters reported, citing sources familiar with the matter. The private equity company has so far beat other parties in the auction for eBay Inc, but there is still no certainty a deal will be reached, the sources said, adding that there are still disagreements over price. Thomas H. Lee and eBay declined to comment. EBay's enterprise business, formerly known as GSI Commerce, was acquired by eBay for USD 2.4 billion in 2011. PayPal, which has separated from eBay, will start trading on the Nasdaq later this month.
