Thomasville Senior Center celebrates 40 years

The front entrance of Thomasville Senior Center was decorated with balloons in honor of the 40th year open house and ribbon cutting ceremony held March 12. Seniors who take advantage of the center's programs were joined by officials and community members to commemorate the anniversary of the organization founded in 1975 with the mission to increase the quality of life for Davidson County seniors and allow them to age in their own homes. Forty years later, the mission continues.
