Ensuring consistent quality production runs without load cells or dancer, TSC™ Torque Sensing Control System can include U4 tension controller, V or CS Series brake, TS torque sensor, US4 ultrasonic sensor or proximity switches, M4 meter, and MPC4 I to P converter. Solution provides actual, calibrated measurement of torque. Combined with roll radius measurement, system can display calculated web tension used to set and maintain precise tension throughout production – from full roll to core.
