In hardware-only configuration, mTouch® MTCH102/5/8 can replace mechanical buttons with digital output to foster addition of proximity and touch detection in size- or power-constrained applications. These 2-, 5-, and 8-channel capacitive touch controllers incorporate active guarding, support diverse touch sensor shapes and sizes, and feature automatic compensation for environmental conditions. Multi-stage noise filtering algorithms enable sensitive touch performance.
