Mechanical and Electrical Workshop Service Manager

Deadline ASAP Client and Location For one of our main customers ESAESTEC, we are currently looking for a Mechanical and Electrical Workshop Service Manager. The Mechanical and Electrical Workshop is part of the Test Centre division is operating a small mechanical and electrical workshop to support the maintenance and operation of the Test Centre and the laboratories that are on ESTEC site. A set of machines and tool is available to be able to offer a quick and flexible service to all teams located on ESTEC site. Tasks and Responsibilities Discussion with workshop Customer to agree on manufacturing Provide manufacturing advise Minor works may require handsketches to be drafted by the service contractor in agreement with the Customer request Registration of request for work Preparation of proposal Maintain overall planning of workshop for all activities work requests, maintenance, repair Maintain machine elog book Liaise with ESA suppliers in charge of the machines maintenance to schedule it and follow it up to meet machine maintenance plan Liaise with ESA supplier in charge of the electrical inspection to schedule it and follow it up to meet inspection plan Keep machine maintenance and inspection plans uptodate Manage stock of spare parts and consumable including the requesting of offer for stock replacement. This requires maintaining a list of spare parts and consumable of the workshop Perform workshop physical inventory Provide monthly report Provide once a year suggestion for machine upgrade or replacement Provide once a year suggestion for maintenance optimisation. Requirements Senior Technician with 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience Minimum completed MBO diploma in technical direction MTS Metaaltechniek Proven experience in planningCoordinationmanagement of Tasks Machine maintenanceMaterial and consumable stock managementinspection and calibration Experience in 3 axis CNC milling Basic knowledge of CATIA is an asset Highly proficient in IT tools MS office, MS Projects, Word, Excel Experience with Pressurized installation is a strong assets Knowledge of Electrical and NEN 3140 is an asset Knowledge of welding techniques is an asset Experience in Reporting and communication in English and Dutch language Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, VCA VOL is an asset Problem solving ability and hands on mentality Leadership skills and Able to motivate, coach and guide people.

The location for this position is on one of the major sites of our client in Southern Germany. Airbus DS is one of the key players in the European satellite and launcher industries. At the Immenstaad site around 2500 people are employed, working on space and defence projects. The space division is specialized in Earth Observation, Navigation and Science. Tasks and Responsibilities Support performance of static and dynamic mechanical analysis of science, earth observation and navigation satellites and their components Support performance of mechanical stability performance analyses for space instruments and highly stable structures for space applications Mapping of thermal analysis results on mechanical mathematical models and performance of thermal distortion analyses Support performance of stress, strength and buckling analyses for structural components of satellites Support performance of nonlinear mechanical analyses of structural components of satellites Performance of multibodysimulations, especially for mechanisms Performance of plausibility checks and hand calculation to validate the analysis results Support simulation and surveillance of vibration tests of satellites and their components Application of the pre and postprocessing software PATRAN and the FEM solver NASTRAN Documentation and archiving of all activities, mathematical models and analysis and test results. Mechanical Engineer to work on Spacecraft Electronic Units STARDundee Ltd., www.stardundee.com, a leading supplier of spacecraft electronic test equipment and technology, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work on new products and technology for spacecraft applications. STARDundee has an excellent track record in innovative, highquality hardware, software and ASICs for spacecraft applications. To meet growing demand, we now seek to expand our research and development team to work on new products related to spacecraft onboard datahandling and avionics networks. STARDundee STARDundee is a successful SME in the aerospace engineering sector, which designs network technology for use onboard spacecraft. The Mechanical Engineer role covers the design of housings for electronics units, heatsinks and other mechanicalelectrical components.
