Supporting power factors of 0.85, Transformer Rectifier Units allow AC input to be converted into steady DC output, delivering power levels up to 500 kVA. Units are available in transductor-controlled, thyristor-controlled, or switch-mode configurations. With peak-to-peak output ripple kept to within 5% margin, optimized voltage stability can be realized.
