UI ag complex gets boost from state funding

Plans for a $13.3 million Feed Technology Complex at the University of Illinois got a $3.5 million boost from the state on Friday. Gov. Pat Quinn visited campus to announce that the state will contribute money from the Illinois Jobs Now! program toward the project on the UI's South Farms, which will replace the 1927 feed mill at the corner of Fourth Street and St. Mary's Road.
