US recycling numbers on the rise, says US EPA report

Some 66.2 million tonnes of U.S. municipal solid waste were recovered for recycling in 2011, up by 1.24 million tonnes over 2010 and three million tonnes over 2007, according to a new report from the Environmental Protection Agency.
