United Airlines passengers and employees rally big time to aid Nepal earthquake victims

In just one day, United Airlines said it managed to raise $1 million from customers and employees to aid victims of a devastating earthquake that struck Nepal on April 25. According to Chicago-based United , $100,000 of that total amount was raised in just the first 100 minutes of the campaign that began Monday. The contributions are being funneled though the airline's disaster relief partners the American Red Cross , AmeriCares, Airlink and Operation USA.
