According to Confidence Report on Lightweighting by Trucking Efficiency, commercial truck fleets looking to increase fuel efficiency, haul more freight, and retain more drivers can look to lightweighting as a key enabler. Report found that investing in lightweighting is an economical alternative to adding expensive new equipment – potentially saving nearly $1 million over 5 years. An initiative of NACFE and CWR, Trucking Efficiency aims to double efficiency of North American trucking fleet.
