Verizon to see lower sales amid pressure from smaller rivals

Verizon Communications Inc., the largest U.S. wireless carrier, lowered its sales forecast for the year as the battle with smaller rivals over price cuts and promotions takes a toll. Revenue for 2015 will be at least 3 percent, Verizon said in a statement Tuesday.
