Whirlpool dryer earns Energy Star award

The Environmental Protection Agency has recognized Whirlpool's HybridCare Heat Pump Duet Dryer with a 2014 Energy Star Emerging Technology Award, which is granted to products that advance the causes of energy efficiency and emission reduction while maintaining high standards of functionality. The HybridCare dryer works by regenerating energy during the drying cycle.
