Why CenturyLink's Third Quarter Is So Important

Last week, CenturyLink scheduled its third quarter earnings release and conference call for November 4. That's quite a ways off, nothing to start worrying about right now. However, as a CTL shareholder, I am already looking ahead to that Q3 report, mainly because it is so important to shareholder sentiment and where the stock goes from here.
