Notebook ODM Wistron is optimistic about the business prospects for 2015 as a steady economic recovery in the US will help offset a growth slowdown in China, according to company chairman Simon Lin. Wistron posted an unexpected decline in revenues in 2014 due to heavy losses incurred from its investments in the touchscreen industry, noted Lin, but stressed that the touchscreen industry has become steady recently, and the new investments will begin to bear fruit in 2015.
