With thousands of Morris County-area residents using public transportation to commute to and from work and other venues on a daily basis, a rate increase from New Jersey Transit will make a huge difference to rail and bus riders. That's what's currently proposed by New Jersey Transit, who announced April 20 it faces a significant budget gap, and needs to eliminate a $60 million shortfall for the 2016 spending plan.
