(Telecompaper) Xiaomi has unveiled its new flagship smartphone, the Mi 5 at Mobile World Congress. Running Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 820 processor, the Mi 5 comes with a range of premium features, such as a 3,000 mAh battery with QuickCharge 3.0, a 16-megapixel camera with Sony sensor and 4-axis optical image stabilisation, support for LTE at up to 600 Mbps and VoLTE, front fingerprint sensor and 4 GB RAM. The 'Pro' version with a ceramic back cover and 128 GB of onboard flash storage will sell for CNY 2,999, while models with glass covers and 64 or 32 GB storage will cost respectively CNY 2,299 and CNY 1,999. The Mi 5 with 5.15-inch full HD screen will be available in a choice of three colours - black, gold and white.
