(Telecompaper) XIaomi has unveiled the new Redmi Note 2 smartphone. The 4G dual-Sim device comes with a 5.5-inch full HD screen, Mediatek's Helio X10 processor, 3,060 mAh removable battery, 13 megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel front camera. It comes with 2 GB RAM and a choice of 16 GB storage on the standard version or 32 GB with the Redmi Note 2 Prime. The Redmi Note 2 will run the latest version of Xioami's user interface, MIUI 7, based on Android 5.0. The UI was previewed in China at the phone launch and will start rolling out worldwide 19 August. The basic version of the Note 2 will sell for CNY 799 (EUR 112) and the Prime version for CNY 999. It will be available in a choice of white, brown, black, pink and light blue. In addition, Xiaomi unveiled its new Mi Wi-Fi nano router. The device fits in the palm of the hand and comes with an external PCB antenna. It will sell for CNY 79 from 16 August.
